My DD12 has been asking for these, but they're just too expensive! Is there a less expensive place to buy them?

I always buy the youth sizes and they are much cheaper. I wear adult size 8, which is a 51/2 or 6 in youth size. They usually run about $35 depending on style.

My Nordstrom rack seems to have just gotten a bunch in! I got myself (youth size) It's a Small World ones for $20! (they had others too incase you want something more neutral).

Last night I bought some Toms black Nepal boots at Nordstroms online ( they were sold out on TOMS online). Went through ebates link and will get 6% cash back, and used a $100 gift card bought at Kroger for 4x fuel points. Free shipping, too- I was pretty excited!

2nd Nordstroms rack, lots of colors for 35.00 (there were some really homely ones for 22) I wish I liked these shoes...... they aren't comfortable enough IMHO...

Friends and Family Code: LOVEYOU2 for 20% off online. If you sign up for their e-mails you will get coupons.

I hated the price too, until I tried a pair on. They are so cute and comfy!

Where does this code work?

Definitely try Nordstrom rack or any other discount places in your area that carry "brand name" shoes. Around here Tom's are now "out" and Sperry are now "in". Our big store that carried Tom's unloaded their whole stock and doesn't even carry them anymore. They replaced the Tom's aisle with a Sperry aisle. I think at least a lot of the stock from our area has hit the discount stores. Of course, if they are still really big where you are, then you may hot have as good luck in your discount stores.

Make sure that you fit her before you buy. Toms stretch a LOT and they should start out snug. I wear an 8 1/2 and bought a size 7 1/2. I wish there was a Nordstrom Rack near me! I need a new pair.

Also suggesting Nordstrom Rack. The one near me had multiple shelves full of various styles of Toms, all for $35 or less. I was tempted myself, but they're so impractical for winter here.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I checked my Nordstrom Rack and they had a few different styles. The kids styles ran about $20, while the adult sizes were around $40. I'm trying the youth size 6 for dd12. Hopefully they work, if not Nordstrom Rack has a pretty good return policy. I forget how good the prices for name brand can be there. I wish I'd had more time to browse! :-)

That's so funny...here Sperry's are going out and Tom's and Bob's are the big thing. My daughter was crazy about Converse a few years ago and I warned her about getting all those shoes because they'd be out of style soon.....now the kids won't be caught in a pair of Converse and she has about 3 dozen pair.
