I've been doing lots of reading, but getting some conflicting reports. I figured the readers here would know best ;)
How will we travel to each park?
Buses to AK and HS for sure.
Is there a dedicated boat between MK and the Fort, or must we go from Fort to WL, then to MK?
I figure however we get to MK, we can then get the monorail to Epcot.

We did reserve a golf cart for our stay so we won't have to worry about the internal buses (right??).

Thanks!

I would also take the bus to epcot. It would be a longer trip to go to mk then take the monorail.

You won't have to use the internal bus since you have a golf cart. There is parking near the boat dock and also at the bus stop for the parks.

There is also a bus option for the MK. The stop for the MK bus is at the settlement.
You can also catch a bus to wilderness lodge if you want to go visit there.

the buses were all on time in November, never waited past 20 minutes. Its a 8 minute ride to Epcot, made the complete trip in 10 minutes one day (bus pulled up as we arrived to outpost)

Bus was quicker from the fort to MK. We always took the boat back to the fort, as it was relaxing and we were not in a rush.

I second driving to AK, DHS, & Epcot and 'boating it' to MK. It's just so much more convenient and parking is free. No waiting around for a bus, plus you know you'll always have a seat, especially if you're trying to make rope drop or at the end of a loooongg day. No to mention the 'safety' factors with covid. And you don't have to wear a mask in your truck/car.

We also like it because we drop our dog off/pick him up at Best Friends en route.

I'm sure driving is the way to go, but DH is of the mind that once he's on property, he doesn't want to drive anywhere :)

DH tows our trailer 3000 miles (one way) to get to Ft W. He'd STILL rather drive to the parks. AK is the farthest from Ft W, and it's only about a 10 minute drive + parking time. I've taken the bus 'home' a few times from a couple of the parks when DH has left earlier than I've wanted to. I'm not averse to public transportation, but after a long day walking around and having packages to carry to have to stand in line and ride a crowded bus for twice the amount of time (if you're lucky)? Not on your tintype if I can avoid it.

MK is a breeze of course, because of the boats. For the other three, I'd tell your DH to just keep an open mind.

We like to drive to the other parks also. And I always had a cooler with cold drinks , snacks for the ride back. Quick and easy, plus no parking fees for guests. We did take the bus to HS , it was ok. Driving was way quicker, especially if you wanted to rd.

I drove all day in my past life (retired now) plus we really like Disney margaritas, might have mentioned that before... We love the buses, gives us some fun family time watching the bus drivers remove guests who wont mask up, 3 times in our November trip

That might be worth the wait for the bus and the extra time! Seriously, I'm glad Disney is taking its covid rules seriously. So many places aren't.

For a 9am regular park opening, what time does the first boat leave? Would like to be at the front of the early entry pack.

Also, on arrival day in the early morning we won't have our tent site to park, so we would have to take the internal bus from the parking lot to the boat launch. We won't have a golf cart. For arrival morning, would it be better to park at TTC to go to MK, or park at the overflow lot and do the whole internal bus then boat?

Except for MK, we drive and park... i much prefer my own car vs the busses...

I like public transportation, except for buses.
I think because I've ridden on a bus with more farm animals inside than people. So, deep down I'm waiting for a sheep to board any bus.

WDW busses can be great but they can also be nightmarish. Especially at park closing..... I am never real sure how long i will stay at the parks but always assume i might just be there till park close and don't want to deal with the busses that late.

I know Disney transportation often starts earlier than posted times. I also know that can vary day to day. We’d like to be at MK at 7:30-8am (9am opening, 8:30am early theme park entry).

What time should we expect the first bus to leave the fort to MK?

What time should the first boat leave to MK?

I was there last week and first boat came about 720am. Mask if riding inside, no mask if in open front or open rear.

Got to MK about 745am, queued up at tap-in entry (turnstiles), and they let us in starting at 755am. Magic Bands were scanned up around the hub and the early entry leg was all the way up past the corner of Cosmic Ray's in front of the spinning teacups.

Can't help with the bus question.

In november we took the bus from the rear of the fort to MK. We thought it was way faster then the boat. Not sure about the times it came. I belive it was one bus on a loop directly to MK. Usally it was empty, no more then 5 people on it. We would boat back.
