Best way to use parent swap and FP+

We have 2 young children that will not want to do any of the "thrill" rides. Last year I just made all 6 FP+ for the same ride, such as Tower of Terror, but 3 of them were wasted due to children not wanting to ride. So what's the best way to attack this?
For example, if I made FP+ at Tower of Terror for 3 of us that will ride and use FP+ on some other ride for the 2 small children and one adult, how many parent swap tickets could I get for ToT?

You are only eligible for rider swap if the child isn't tall enough to ride, although CMs will sometimes give it for children that don't want to ride. If you already know some in your party won't want to ride ToT, then just schedule them for different FPs - no swap necessary.

You will get one rider swap pass since only one adult has to wait out the ride (to sit with the kids). The pass will be good for up to 3 people so that the adult who waited with the children doesn't have to ride alone.

And PP is correct, generally Rider Swap is only given when children are too short, but CMs may also give in other instances.

I should add, we have twins (went when they were 2 years old and 3 years old), we got one rider swap pass because again, only one adult missed out on the ride.

Ok, so only 1 rider swap pass but 3 people can go on one pass. That helps a lot. Thanks.
