Best way to travel between Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney using Disney trans.

I would like to go to Downtown Disney to eat at Wofgang Puck Express instead of eating at the studios. What is the best way to travel back and forth between the two. Also between MK and Downtown. Thanks!!

From DHS just walk or boat from DHS to one of the Epcot resorts and then bus to DTD.
Same thing from MK to DTD, just go to one of the monorail resorts and catch a bus from there.
Not fast but it works.

From DHS you have the option of walking or taking the boat to the Boardwalk and going to DTD from there,OR taking a bus from DHS to Saratoga Springs Congress stop and walking to DTD from there,the same in reverse.

From MK to DTD,easiest way is walk to the Contemporary and take the bus to DTD.But you could also hop on a resort monorail to either of the three monorail resorts and take a bus from them or also grab a bus from MK to Saratoga Springs Congress stop and walk from there.

if you are going to DTD just to eat, then returning to either park, this will take a long time. Its not a quick out there & back. If you don't like the food choices at DHS, I suggest restaurants in either Epcot or the Epcot resorts, a faster boat ride away. For MK, the monorail resorts.

I would never suggest going to DTD from a park just to eat.

thought someone had said there are buses now to go from MK to DTD or same with HS to DTD? other wise if your at MK walk over to Contemporary (short walk) and take DTD bus from there. If at HS take could take the boat to Epcot and take a bus OR go to front of Epcot and do same thing take a bus to DTD..

No, there are no buses that run between any park and DTD. They do not run between TTC and DTD either.

I love WPE...and will go to DTD just to eat there. But, if I'm in a park, and planning on returning to that park, I'm not at all sure I would take the necessary time to get to DTD from that park. You have to figure on at least an hour each way...and possibly more. You have to get to a nearby resort, then transfer to the bus to DTD. Then, after you eat, wait at the bus stop, ride to the resort, and time to get back to the park.
You might want to consider taking a cab to DTD from DHS and back again.
