Best way to take disney gift cards?

Looking for the safest way to bring my Disney gift card funds I purchased via email. Is it better to leave the info in my email until I need the money, or print the gift cards on paper and keep them with my itineraries, or combine as much as possible on physical gift cards and carry in my wallet? Mostly concerned about the airport as I'll prob leave all but 1 in the safe once we check in.

I copied the gift card numbers to the notepad section on my phone and then just played the copy/paste game when I needed them for mobile ordering.

I take one physical GC with a $0 balance and create a digital record of those that do have funds on them. The digital record could be a Word file, or a photo of the back of a physical GC kept on my phone. I don't leave funds on eGCs. I'm too fearful of hackers draining the funds off.. I transfer their balances to a blank physical GC on disneygiftcard.com. Then I delete all cards from the online account.

Once at Disney, I use the Disney GC website to transfer only what I need to the physical GC in my possession.

I like the idea of keeping the GC numbers somewhere on the phone so that you can easily copy and paste for Mobile orders.

What about for sit down locations? I’ve typically had a physical GC for that. Are you able to just give them a GC number instead?

Also, please correct me if this is wrong, but I believe you can also use the GC to pay the tip as well correct?

I also had the physical GC with me so if I needed to I just whipped it out or charged it to my room. Yes, you can include tipping on the gift cards.
