Most of these are already covered, but my tips:
1) Pre-order the CD (or join a photo share).
2) Photograph the ID of your PhotoPasses.
3) Watch for PhotoPass photographers and get plenty of pictures.
4) Make sure to get pictures in front of the major icons. The closer ones are usually better (for instance at MK, they usually have photographers all up and down Main Street but the pictures closer to the castle look better).
5) Ask each photographer (that isn't using a tripod) if they do any Magic Shots. Look at the list of Magic Shots at Stitch Kingdom to make sure you get all of the magic shots at each park.
6) Don't forget the Test Track ones. If you do it enough, you'll start doing funny poses!
7) Shots off to the side of the castle (on the path to Tomorrowland) has a great unobstructed view with hardly any wait.
8) Shots at AK with Everest in the background, at the turn between Africa and Asia, can be really nice.
9) The Mickey & Princesses Meet & Greets are some great shots.
10) Get a Disney Visa and do the Visa Meet & Greet at Innoventions in Epcot between 1:30pm and 4:30pm every day that you're at Epcot. You get a coupon for a free 5x7 each time.
11) If your kids do Jedi Training, have those photos added to your PhotoPass.
12) If your kids do BBB, have those photos added to your PhotoPass.
13) If you do CRT or anything else where you get pictures, get the PhotoPass ID from the pictures and add it to your account too. There will probably be other pictures other than the ones they printed in the package (although they normally get the best one).
14) When you edit your photos, choose the best pose from each set, change it to the size you would most likely have printed (8x10 for us), zoom in and adjust position if necessary, and add borders/signatures. (I always skip doing it for the ones I know I'm not going to get printed. We usually end up with 300-500 photos, and it would take forever to do them all!)
15) When you order (using the prepaid credit), you still have to pay shipping. (That's new.) Look on the site to see if they have a coupon. If they do, use it. It'll apply towards the shipping, and you may be able to upgrade to expedited shipping and not have to pay anything.
