Best way to surprise your kids about upcoming trip

We are leaving for Disney the day after Thanksgiving...whats the best wat to surprise my two DD, 8 and 10, about the trip? We have not told them so they can concentrate on school for now but I want to let them know soon. Last time we went, 4 years ago, we had someone on the board who was in Disney send my girls a postcard from their favorite Disney character saying "I heard your coming soon, I can't wait til you get here"...it was postmarked Lake Buena Vista so it looked very authentic. I was hoping for another idea this time. You Thoughts are appreciated.

This past weekend my dh and I made up a scavenger hunt for our 3 boys. They had to go to 10 different places to find clues that all lead to the finale....we ordered Disney customizable maps in their names that they found along with a note that said "Your Disney adventure begins in 41 days!". They had so much fun they wanted to do it again!
Now we've got a countdown calendar going, and BOY are they ready!!
