Best way to purchase park tix when renting points

Can anyone offer advice on the best (or cheapest) way to purchase park tix when renting DVC points? We rented for OKW in December and were wondering if tix purchased separately either from the resort at time of check-in or from a third party source (i.e. the Disney Store, Undercover Tourist, etc.) could be combined into your "key to the world" room card like when we purchased a MYW package on previous trips. We liked not having to keep up with paper tickets for everyone that way. Thanks!

We purchase from a third party (whoever mousesavers works with usually) and yes, you can add the paper tickets to your room card. However, you need to be aware that you can add only one paper ticket to your room card and then it can't be moved off (for non-expiry) - i.e. we have room keys from two years ago hanging around that are "tickets".

So if I bought 4-day passes w/PH option from Undercover tourist, brought them with me and presented them to the front desk at check-in, they would add them into my room key card and I would no longer need to present the paper tickets for admission at the parks?

Yes, only instead of presenting them at check-in, you take your key and tickets to the concierge desk after you check-in.

I buy my tickets through AAA. They have the credit card type tickets. We buy the non-epire tickets, so it's nice to have the credit card type instead of the paper tickets.

Thanks for this info...I totally forgot I could do this and used our "paper" (Tyvek) UCT passes for our last trip. I will remember to have them put our passes on our KTW cards when we return in October....
