Best way to get wine for our room

I'm traveling with 3 friends, we're all flying into MCO.

What is the best way to get wine and vodka for our room? Does anyone order online and have it shipped, I can't see that availability on Amazon Now. Does instacart?

If I need to uber off site, can anyone recommend a place nearby for wine and vodka?

Thanks in advance!

For wine, I found that the shops at the resort had almost reasonable prices for bottles of wine. You could bring the vodka with you in checked baggage. How much of each do you need and when are you going and where are you staying?

Do the restaurants in World Showcase sell bottles of wine?
Can you get it at the airport?
How about shipping yourself some from home?
I'm pretty sure the last time I was there I noticed some vodka in the store at BW, pricey but cheaper than ordering a drink at a WDW bar

The gift shops in every resort sell wine and liquor.
You can buy bottled wine in Epcot (in the shops in World Showcase)
I believe that I have seen people mention ordering alcohol from one of the grocery delivery services, it may have been Garden Grocer, but I'm not positive if it was that one.

Just a forewarning when you buy wine in the shops at Epcot, they require it to be sent to your hotel or the front of the park. they will not let you carry it out yourself.

we have included beer and wine with our Garden Grocer order several times; I was required to scan them a copy of my license.

We packed vodka in our checked luggage following our airline's regulations. I paid a little extra and purchased plastic bottles vs glass and still packed them in a Ziploc.

Instacart and Garden Grocer will deliver alcohol. Instacart requires you to be present and show your ID. I think GG you can just scan a copy of your license. Instacart was a lot cheaper in my experience.

I was able to buy a bottle of wine at one of the World Showcase restaurants and carry it out myself. But not at a shop. I don't recommend this as I paid restaurant prices also.

We transport our wine and liquor in wine diapers, they are reusable. We pack the wine either in our regular luggage between clothing or if we are flying SW, since they allow two pieces of luggage, we pack it in a smaller suitcase that is well padded with bubble wrap or extra clothing. Never had anything break. When we cruise, we bring wine with us in the diapers and then buy duty free liquor to bring home, reusing the wine diapers. Here are two that we use. Basically the same, just different labels.

Thats not correct. But you are not allowed to open it in parks.
ANd I believe they made me carry out -- would not have it sent to my hotel.

My hat is off to anyone who has enough energy left after a day at Disney to drink wine! We barely had enough energy to get into our PJ's at the end of the day. But we did manage to have a glass of wine with dinner most nights.

It’s that FL humidity that puts a damper on my wine drinking!

In Feb. 2018 I was required to send the bottle to the front of the park - I couldn't carry it or send it to the hotel. Since I was leaving and not going back that day, I ended up not buying the wine.

If you order a bottle at a restaurant but don’t finish it, they’ll package it up and send it with you. If you buy from a shop, they send it to the entrance. Yes, they can send it to the International Gateway entrance.

They also sell small bottles of alcohol in the marketplace gift shops at DVC resorts; maybe at others, too. I’m sure it’s expensive, but probably not as much as having something delivered or making a special trip to pick something up.

interesting as in January 2018 I was told I had to carry it out...

I honestly think it depends on the person who is checking you out and their interpretation of the rules. I was allowed to carry it out in April 2017.

Oh and for the OP - doesn't the gas station near the Boardwalk Resort have wine? I think it's a Speedway. The name might have changed again though. Not sure if they have vodka.

We have tried a few times to buy a bottle of wine in WS to bring back to our room, but were always told we couldn't carry it out. Very frustrating since we are often at BWV and on our way out of the park to walk back, so waiting for it to be delivered to the pickup location didn't make any sense.
