Best way to get travel weather?

So right now my plan is to leave RI early (4am) this Saturday. Unfortunately every area I have checked along our way is going to have terrible weather-rain and wind, with severe thunder at our night stop (North Carolina).

Is there any map or website that I can use to use the weather for the entire east coast? I'm sick of individually entering city names.

NOAA.com will give you weather alerts for general areas or regions, and then individually by state.

NOAA is excellent, as is AccuWeather. I check both sites frequently when inclement weather is expected. AccuWeather has an iPad/iPod/iPhone app which makes things really easy.
