So, we have TT Madness tix, and plan on using them on Friday morning... I am guessing that the rope drop will be at 9, and normally TT opens an hour later, but because of the Morning Madness thing, it'll open right at 9 too... what is the best way to get there as close to 9 as possible? We are saving all of our toontown stuff for the early entry to it...

Going end of October, and staying at DLH if that helps...

Thanks!

Since it's a Friday, there's no EE that day. (so no one will already be in the park).

Get there between 8:40 - 8:50 for 9am rope drop. Of the people there:

- 40% are heading for Nemo.
- 10% are heading for Indy.
- 10% are headning toward SM.
- 20% are heading for PP & Dumbo.
- 10% are heading elsewhere.

You & the other 10% (going to TT) need to walk purposefully down Main St. to the Hub. When in front of the castle veer to the right & walk down the wide trail between the Castle & the Matterhorn. Keep walking (towards IASW). On the left side of IASW the walkway dips down (& under an overpass/bridge) & into Toontown.

I believe there is a CM on that walkway (before you get to bridge) who let the privilidged few with Mickey's EE tickets into toontown. I doubt it will be a frantic rush (based on the %s above), but getting there as early as you can, I'm sure will have it's benefits (like little to no lines the first few minutes).

Have fun. :thumbsup2

We just got back from a trip and did the Toontown Madness. Granted, gates open a little earlier in summer but I think the same principal will apply.

Gates to DL opened at 8:00 a.m. so Toontown Madness also started at 8:00 a.m. We lined up at 7:30 and walked straight back to Towntown. When we got there, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale were just standing around to greet us. There were maybe 5 or 6 people ahead of us. My little 2-year old got to run right up and give the characters hugs. It was great!

The Toontown Madness ceremony didn't start until 8:20. That gave us time to meet & greet characters, and then head over to the City Hall area to get chairs. The ceremony lasted for maybe 15 minutes. They picked an honorary family - maybe it will be yours!!

Then, we headed over to Roger Rabbit and rode it 2x because the line was less than 5 minutes.

By then, I think the "regular" hours had caught up to us.

From our experience, it was more like 75% of the people rushed towards Nemo. Made it nice for those of us going to Toontown with little ones.

Last year we had a AAA package deal and didn't even use our TT Madness tix.
This year I don't want to miss it.
We're staying at PPH, do DLR guests get admission to TT Madness too?

I think you must have to buy your TT tix if you want them... mine came with our DLR hotel pax thru Costco...

Do you have the ones from last year? Maybe they will be usable? I think the only way to get them is to buy a package.
