Best way to get to the MK from the Fort for EMM

We're planning on attending Early Morning Magic at the MK next month. It starts at 7:45 am and are supposed to check in at 7:30. The park doesn't open until 9:00, so I'm assuming the boats won't be running from the Fort to the MK that early. What would be the easiest and quickest way from the Fort to the MK that early in the morning? TIA!

Take the boat to the Contemporary, it starts at 6:45. From the Contemporary you can easily walk to the MK. We have done this for multiple early morning MK events. The walk is about 10 minutes.

It's my understanding that the boat will run 30 minutes prior to the park opening. Given that EMH is for RESORT guests only it seems only logical to expect that the boat will start at (or about) 7:15 (perhaps even 7AM). Even though the park is only open to Resort guests, it is still open.

That said, the boat to the Contemporary added with a short walk is always an option as well. (That one is typically suggested for those wishing to make Rope Drop)

peg110 is correct. Whatever time MK opens for resort guests the boasts will run 30 minutes prior to opening.

This is for EMM, not EMH, so I don't think the boats directly to the MK will be running that early. The park doesn't have EMH that day, only EMM, which is a ticketed event. My DH reminded me that we did what Tiggerdad suggested in 2010 to get to an PPO at CRT, and it worked perfectly! He also reminded me that it'll be dark when we leave at 6:45 am! That's going to seem so early!

At 6:45 on our October trip last year we watched the sunrise as we crossed the lake heading to the Contemporary.

That's good to know! I was hoping it wouldn't feel like we're leaving the campground in the middle of the night!

No, it made for some great pics. I'll post em later when I get home.

Aight, so I've looked high and low and can't find the sunrise pictures from our October trip. I did manage to find the pics crossing the lake. The sunrise pictures were taken from the dock after we reached the Contemporary and had looked around the resort a little.
This picture was taken when we left the dock from the Fort.

The next pic was of the girls going across the lake. Sun hasn't actually come up yet, but you can see that it is not dark and does make for good pictures.

The next one I can find is the one we took of the girls when we reached the Contemporary and they wanted their picture taken in front of the stainless steal Mickey that is at the end of the dock between the lake and Contemporary.

You can clearly see the sun coming up in the background. I'll keep looking, but they should have been right there with these pictures. We had some of the girls on the end of the dock with the sun coming up behind them as well that are also lost. :furious:

I did find my Mainstreet pictures and the sunrise of the buildings is cool too.

So, I guess the best I can show is that it won't be dark. Hope these helped.

Thank you for the pictures - They helped a lot! I was relieved to see it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be. You have a beautiful family, BTW! Thank you again for posting the photos! :)
