Best way to get to the Contempo for an early breakfast?

On our last day we're doing a 7:30am breakfast at Chef Mickey's, then flying out that afternoon. MK doesn't open until 9 that morning; am I better off just biting the bullet and getting a cab from the fort that early? Thanks!

I would have thought posting on the camping board and saying "getting a cab from the fort..." would be a clue to where we're staying...

Other folks will probably know better, but I seem to remember the Contemp / Wilderness Lodge / FW boat starting pretty early in the morning. Not sure how early though ... maybe around 7:00 - 7:15 AM??

If so, the boat would probably be an option although you would be cutting it close.

I also think there was a character breakfast bus that leaves early from the fort to get you to the various Bay Lake resorts. Again, not 100% on that info though

You said what everyone else was thinking, but let me throw in the often under-used ...oh...and one of these too....

We do this at least once per trip. Take the small boat...it's on the right as you walk out on the dock. It makes the loop from the Fort to the Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge.

The boats usually start running pretty early for just such an occasion.

The boat to the CR starts at 6:45, plenty of time to get to breakfast.
