Best way to get to PSB from Contemporary and how long?

Hi all,

I made a PS for PSB and we're staying at the Contemporary. Our PS is for 8:50a.

How much time do I need to get there? What's the best way? Monorail?

Then we want to go to AK. I just exit Epcot and get on an AK bus, right?

Monorail is your best bet. I think you should leave about 30 minutes earlier than your PS. That should give you enough time to get from the entrance to the Breakfast without feeling like you are rushing. If you are headed to the AK after breakfast just hop on an AK bus either at Epcot (not sure if they have them)or travel back to the TTC (by Monorail) for one.!

I was thinking monorail too...

Are you sure about the 30 minutes though? I was thinking more because I must get from my room at the Contemporary, to the monorail, switch monorails and then walk from the monorail exit to the restaurant.

I was thinking about 45 minutes just in case??

I guess I'm just remember how long it seemed to walk there from BWV last year!! I know this is different but boy that seemed like a LONG walk!

Do you think if I left my room by 8:00a at the very latest, I'd be ok?

I walk like a madwoman.. even when I'm not in a rush.. (everyone says I'm too long legged for my own good).. so.. 45 minutes may be better. Why not give your self an hour. You will be able to relax, you won't worry about not making your PS should any travel mishaps occur and the empty park in the morning will give you great photo ops too! Walking through the empty World showcase in the morning is something that I am looking forward to in October. I've convinced my mother and uncle to go to the PSB with me because my DS hasn't wanted to go see Princesses.

Event hough the TTC is the first stop after the Contemporary, give yourself an hour of traveling time, to be safe. You'll wa it about 10 minutes at most at the TTC and then factor another 10 min of traveling time, plus 15 min of walking once you're at the Epcot gate.

As for AK, Tyler will give you the final answer, but I'm pretty sure there's an AK bus at Epcot.
