best way to get to poly for the luau?

we will be ariving friday march 25 & have ressies for the 5:15 luau @ the polynessian, i was wondering what to fastest/ quickest way to get to to poly hotel from the fort. we dont want to drive unless we really have to. thanks for your help

I would hop a boat to the Contemporary and the monorail to the Poly.

That is a great option, but if a boat to MK shows up soon another alternative might be a boat to MK, (about a 10min ride) and the the monorail to the Poly and the walk from the FW boat landing at MK is a heck of a lot shorter than the boat landing at CR to the monorail station.

Finally if it cold or raining the launches to WL and Cr are the small open ones and for the most part the boats to MK are enclosed, larger and more comfortable.

Just another opinion to consider.

thanks so much, i wasn't sure if there is a boat launch to poly from mk & would that be closer to the luau?

While I've never used it I understand there is a gold flagged launch that goes from the MK to the GF then to the Poly. By the looks of this map, the launch dock, monorail station and luau cove are all on the left side and looks like neither is closer than the other.

thanks so much for the map it does look about the same, i am just afriad we are going to be running to the luau, we will be driving in from sc & we plan an leaving around 4:30am which puts us @ the fort around 2 -2:30 depending on traffic & pit stops. you just never know about traffic & anything else that might pop up
