Err....I guess the title pretty much says it all! LOL!! :lmao:

We are leaving this Sunday and all that I know about the resorts and the transportation system is what I have learned from all of you wonderful DISers. (Muchos thanks, btw) :thumbsup2

We will have our vehicle. Would it be easiest to drive ourselves to DTD or is that more of a pain because you have to worry about finding parking?? Is it easier to take a bus? If so, how do I do that?

Or, is there a boat that we could take?

(I am very fuzzy on the waterways....where they reach and all.)

TiA!!!

From the Polynesian you can take a boat to the MK, or the monorail. To get to Epcot, you can walk, via the path, over to the TTC and hop on the Epcot monorail. To get to MGM you will need to board a bus, same for AK. Also a bus is the only way to get to DTD. You can drive to any of the parks, but for the most part it's almost as easy to just take the bus. For DTD, there is a huge parking lot, so finding a spot shouldn't be too hard. Just be aware that if you want to head to a park from DTD, you can't. There are no buses going to the parks from there. You would have to move your car to either your resort or to a park's parking lot.

As far as the different waterways....
there is a lake at Epcot, with connecting canalways to MGM. You can board a boat at the International Gateway (back in World Showcase) and go to YC/BC, BW, S/D and then on to MGM. And back again.

For MK, you can take a boat to the Polynesian and GF. Or a big ferry boat over to the TTC. Or a smaller ferry boat to Ft. Wilderness and WL. A boat runs between those areas and the Contemporary also.

There is a boat that runs between POR, POFQ and OKW and DTD.
And I think there is a boat from SSR to DTD.

I think that covers the waterways.
