We are going to BVC for our first trip in Oct. and we are traveling with our two young daughters (3 & 2). I'm trying to determine the best way to get to and from the resort from the airport? Should I rent a car and bring our car seats? I thought I remember reading that you can get a transfer service that provides car seats for kids, which would allow us to leave the car seats at home.

Any and all suggestions from you experienced travelers would be appreciated.

There's also one which will include a 30 minute stop at a grocery store on your way to the resort, which might be nice as well.

Hi we used Interplex and it was wonderful...Our driver had the car seat all set up...stopped at the store for us...and gave us his cell phone number to call later in the week to let him know what time to be picked up!

We had a brand new 9 passenger van all to our own family of 5.

Wonderful service....we will use them again in April...

We had a great experience with yourride.com. We did have a free grocery stop and the driver was cool enough to stop way far away fron Disney and its premium prices. They can provide you with carseats as well. Note on your reservation that you will need two.

We used Mike from Yourride.com and he was great. I don't know if he still works for Yourride but if he does you will not be disappointed.:Pinkbounc

We use Cartier Towencar service in Orlando. They are great! Probably about the same (maybe a bit less) as Mears shuttle in cost for your family, but you get direct door to door service in a towncar and a grocery stop if you need it. They meet you in baggage claim. No waiting. A great way to begin and end your trip home.

You can reserve over the internet at their website.

Enjoy :)

For a family of 4, the best bang for the buck would probably be to rent a car from National. You can drop the car @ Disney for no drop-fee and then re-rent a car to go back to the airport when you are leaving. All you do is drive directly to BCV, drop your stuff, then drive to the on-property National office at the Car Care Center. They will shuttle you back to BCV. When you leave, call them & they will come pick you up. This way, you also have a car to stop at a grocery store & pick up supplies on your way in.

We have used Tiffany Towncar. They also have car seats and offer the 30 minute grocery stop. It is so nice to be picked up a the airport baggage claim with a little sign on it with your last name and they drop you right off at your resort, not eveyone elses resort.

We used Tiffany Town Car several years ago(didn't need a car seat or a grocery stop, so I can't speak to that) but their service was wonderful.

We usually rent a car now, using National's Emerald Aisle service. It's right on airport property, you grab your bags, run out the door, pick whatever car you want(they do guarantee that you'll have at least what you reserved, but if there's something else there you want, you can take that), stop at the little booth, and go!! Literally, you are out of the airport within 10 minutes of getting your bags(unless you take a long time to decide on a car, but that's not National's fault;) !!). We figure since we're not spending a big hunk of money on the room(as it is pre-paid, so to speak)we splurge and rent a car. Since National has a WDW on-site thing(actually, I think there's a couple of them)we figure that if we run into trouble with the car, they're right there.
