We are going to be staying with my folks for 2 nights at OLCC. We have a 9:50 ADR at PSB. Here are the two options I came up with-please let me know which is better or if there is something even better I didn't think of.

1. Drive to Epcot and park in lot, be there by 8:30. Pay $9. Walk through FW to WS to be there by 9:30

2. Drive to boardwalk and park, pay $0. Walk through boardwalk area throught the International Gateway to Norway. (is it even open before FW?) I know the gateway is on the other side of Norway and we will have a long walk around.

We will be pushing a stroller. Which one do you think would be the best?

I'm not sure that either one will be much different. We had dinner there last week and we were staying at the Boardwalk. The walk to the International Gateway entrance isn't far, maybe a five minute walk, and then probably another ten minutes once you're in the park to get to Norway. We had our 5 & 3 yr. olds with us and we rented a stroller at the entrance. I don't think the walk is too far. Also, the food wasn't great at the dinner (hopefully the breakfast food is better) but it was the most fun dining experience of the week. The girls loved the princesses, it was great seeing the looks on their faces as they each came to our table.

Technically parking at the Boardwalk is not for those going to Epcot, it's for those who are there to enjoy the amenities of the Boardwalk and/or dine at the Boardwalk. It's really not meant to save someone money to go into a park and avoid paying the parking fee!

That being said, by the time you park at self serve parking at the Boardwalk and walk to the hotel and out through it and then all the way to Norway it would probably be much shorter if you were park at the entrance to Epcot and walk from there. The international showcase entrance is opened however the world showcase isn't so they will direct you to the left and you would have to walk that way around to Norway.

I'd just park at Epcot. Boardwalk parking is for those visiting the Boardwalk area, not Epcot, anyways. It's quite a walk, IMO, when it comes right down to it. At least in Epcot parking, you can take the tram from the parking lot and the walk to Norway isn't bad.

We are not planning on staying at Epcot the whole day, we are just going for breakfast then heading back to the timeshare for a rest day....that is the only reason I was thinking of parking at the boardwalk.

I'd only come into the International Gateway if I was staying at an Epcot resort (BWI/BWV or BC/BCV/YC) and could just walk out of the hotel. I think the walk from the parking lot would add a lot of time. You can't park close to the resort unless you are staying there. Then, you have to walk through the hotel and out onto the boardwalk. The walk from the boardwalk to the IG takes some time too. I think it would be much closer to park in Epcot.
