Going during T-Day week and we are not renting a car.

Contemplating :confused3 either a cab (s) (there are 16 of us) or using FL tours.

FL tours is expensive but has lots of flexibility (ie. leaving the park when little ones get fiesty).

Cab (s) probably cheaper but less flexibility? Has anyone ever cabbed it over from WDW? If so, how much did it cost? How did you return, e.g. did you make some arrangements with the cab driver or did you call the cab central office?

Thanks for your help!!!

We caught a Lynx bus no. 50 from the T&TC and it drops off right outside SW. If i remember correctly the fare is $1.25 each way per person. Might be your cheapest option.

Saw your message on the board and wondered about the Lynx bus. Is that some sort of public transportation that runs on a regular shedule? Do little guys have to have car seats, and what is the earliest you can catch one? I assume you can get to the T&TC from all of the resorts via bus?

Thanks for the info.

Yes, Lynx is public transportation. Their web site is here.

You can get to SWF with one bus (#50), but to get to Universal takes 3, so it's really not an option for that.
Most who have used it report good results and a lot of money saved.
The tradeoff is time. You'll have to travel to the TTC of Disney, then wait. Same thing on the way back, you'll have to wait.
If you use a limo, they come right to the hotel, you'll go straight to SWF with no stops, and when you come back, you just call, and they'll be there in minutes.
