We have meals at the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian. I'm wondering if it is better to go over to DTD to get on the bus to the resort or if it is easier to get on a bus to MK and then take the monorail to the resort....thoughts? Thanks .

It is probably easier to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and take the monorail or boat to the GF but just walk to the contemporary, the monorail station is almost the same distance from the bus stop as the contemporary is.
The buses out of DTD run at the same intervals as all the other park buses. The only disadvantage with going to DTD is that those buses will make stops at MP, PI and TL before going to the resort. Plus there are so many traffic lights on BVD.
So you are better off taking a bus from SSR to MK and then walking to CO or taking a boat or monorail to GF.
take the bus to MK and walk to contemporary...if you have an early ADR and you're the only ones on the bus, the driver may just drop you off at the contemporary (worked for us twice)...
