Best Way To Get From POFQ to Sea World

Would it be better to rent a car from the car care center at Disney or to have the Mears shuttle pick us up from the hotel and then pick us up at the end of the day? I'm thinking it would be better to rent a car for the day, but i'm not sure.

Any help would definitely be appreciated!

I have used the Lynx bus from the TTC. It was very convenient. You can take an early bus to MK and then monorail or ferry over to the TTC. The monorail starts operating by 7am. The cost for the bus is $2 pp, one way. You tell the driver, when boarding, that you want to go to SeaWorld, and he will stop and let you off at the parking lot entrance to SW. Just cross the lot and enter the park.
When you're done for the day, recross the lot, cross the street (pretty easy to do), go to the left and you will see the Lynx bus stop sign. Again, $2 pp.
If you go to www.golynx.com you should find the schedule. I think it's the number 50 route.

We took MEARS to Sea World 2 years ago and wouldn't recommend it. We didn't realize that they made multiple stops throughout the resort to other hotels, and we got to Sea World much later than we had planned as a result. Also, we were quoted one price on the phone, and then the driver tried to overvharge us for our then 18 month old twins. She went into some rambling explanation that didn't make sense, wrote something on the ticket, and charged over $20 more EACH WAY than the phone quote. When I called her on it she quickly changed her tune and honored the quoted price, but it was very fishy

Lynx bus is convenient & cheap! DBr & I had an early breakfast at Kona & walked it off strolling to the TTC from the Poly!! Also, the Lynx bus stops at DTD near the Marketplace on the way back. Come to think of it, since you are at POFQ, maybe it would be just as easy to pick up the bus there too.
