Hey y'all,

Although we have on-site reservations for a few nights before we check into our rental home, we are now considering going for an off-site hotel to save a little bit of $$.

Question: What is the best way to get from an off-site hotel (right now we are thinking Quality Suites LBV) to the Hoop De Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. Our dinner time is 6 p.m. and I'm sure we'll want to get there earlier to look around and ensure we have plenty of time to get settled.

What's the easiest route to get there? We will have a rental car and will be traveling with three adults and three children (one with a stroller).

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

You can just drive to Fort Wilderness and Park in the front lot of the campground. CMs will direct you where you need to go. The parking lot (if I remember correctly) is right near the entrance, the stables are nearby as well. From there you will have to board a bus at the bus depot that will take you down to the HDDR. Busses come every 20 mins and its at least a 10min ride down to the restaurant (lots of stops if I remember correctly). I would be in the Fort Wilderness parking lot 45min to 1 hr prior to seating. That would give you time to wait for the bus, ride the bus and then look around the small gift shop and lake area by the HDDR. Have fun! I love the HDDR I wish we got a chance to see it every trip! :thumbsup2
