Best way to get from Dolphin to MK?

We had originally planned on staying at CR because of the short walk to MK, but are now leaning towards the Dolphin because (from what I read) it is only a short walk from MGM, Epcot AND the Boardwalk. Plus, CR does not have a kiddie pool and the Dolphin does, etc., etc.

What is the best way to get from the Dolpin to MK? Would we be better off taking the bus directly to MK, or getting to Epcot (by boat or walking) and then taking the monorail to MK???

If I remember correctly it was only a 10 minute bus ride. I would just take the bus. I think the monorail from Epcot would take longer since you have to ride the ferry or walk to Epcot then walk through Epcot to get the the monorail.

I'ts over a mile walk from the Dolphin to the monorail ramp at Epcot. I"d take the bus.

Take the bus! In addition to what has already been mentioned, you cannot even get to the monorail from the Dolphin until after EPCOT opens. That means you cannot get to the MK at opening (for some of the more uncrowded time) or take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour.

We stayed at the Dolphin in Aug of 2002 and I would reconmend that you take the bus to both the AK and the MK. The buses came within 10mins and the rides are not that long at all. We would walk back and forth to EC and we would walk to MGM and then take the boat back.
