Best way to get from Dolphin to Hollywood Studios

We will be arriving at the Dolphin about 10am and want to immediately go to Hollywood Studios for the day. We've never stayed at the Dolphin but it looks like it is close to Hollywood Studios. Is there boat service or just bus service? Which is the quicker way?

No bus. You can walk (about 15-20 mins), or take the boat (about 10 mins, not counting wait times for the boat to arrive).

The good news is that the boat from the Swan-Dolphin dock to the DHS dock makes no intermediate stops. Once you board, it's a quick, pleasant ride.

The bad news is that it's typically around 20 minutes between departures, so, unless you catch the boat just right, walking is often faster.

If it's a nice day, it's a pleasant walk. You cross the bridge toward Boardwalk and then walk on a sidewalk along the water. There are often ducks and other birds to watch.

If it's raining or really hot, then waiting in the covered area for a boat would be better.

As the pp said, there's no bus, but DHS is within walking distance or you can take the boat. We've done both and while walking takes a little longer, it is a nice walk, IMO.

Dock to dock, the boat ride is just under 8 minutes. That does not include wait time or load/unload time.
Walking from the S/D dock to HS last visit I timed it at 17 minutes. Not racing, not strolling, normal walking pace.
As other have said, the boat is quickest, but if you just miss the boat, then walking will get you there quicker.

Definitely take the boat. It's very relaxing and a quick ride to HS.

If the boats are closed due to weather there will be a bus.
