Best way to get from CSR to Poly?

Howdy y'all. I have a huge (and old) trip report to post, but I can't post pics/links until I have 10 posts. So, I figured I'd start with a question that has been poking at me.

We arrive for our latest trip in August, and we are staying at CSR to take advanatage of the free DDP for staying at a moderate.

On our arrival day, we have an ADR for the Polynesian, for the the Ohana dinner buffet.

What is the best way to get to the Poly from CSR? And I'm looking for the most efficient method.

My initial idea: take a bus to MK, then the monorail to the Poly. However, this might not be the best method.

Should we take a bus from MK to Poly? Is there a launch or other water craft that might be better. Should we go to some other location by bus to take a bus that might get to Poly quicker/sooner?

I won't have my own car, nor extra $ for a cab. Just wondering if I have already got the best way already figured out, or did someone else find something better.

If not using your own car, then I would bus to MK TTC and walk to Poly. That or monorail are your options

I would take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there you can take the Resort Monorail or boat to the Polynesian. Now if you take the Resort Monorail it will stop at the Contemporary and TTC before arriving there. If you take the boat it will 1st stop at the Grand Floridian and then it goes to the Polynesian.
