What's the quickest way to get over to Fort Wilderness after dinner at Chef Mickey's? Our dinner will probably be over around 8p.m.

Should we take the boat?

Or should we take the monorail to the TTC and then take the Fort Wilderness bus?

Both will take about the same amount of time. However, it depends on what time you get out. The boats run until 10:00pm. If you get out after that, then take the Monorail to the TTC, and catch the bus from there.

(One thing to note... if you're staying on the Orange route, you might just want to take the Monorail then the bus. The WL/FW bus turns into the Orange when it hits the campground.

Thanks! You always have the best information! It sounds like the boat will be best for us since we will be heading over to Fort Wildernss around 8p.m. We aren't staying there, just heading over for a carriage ride. Since we are supposed to meet our carriage driver at Crockett's (which is close to the boat dock, I think), it sounds like the boat is best.

How long do you think we should allow for travel time?

I really don't know much about boat intervals over there, but I'd imagine I'd allow 30 mins travel & wait time... It might not take that long... but it's always best to be early. :)
