Best way to get a rental after we're on property?

We will take the ME from MCO to OKW. We stay at OKW for 5 days and then head to Vero Beach for the rest of our vacation. What's the best way to get a car on the day we check out of OKW? We only need the car for our beach portion of the trip. I'm not sure about this since we've only picked up a car at the airport before.

We unfortunately had to rent a car in 2008 to drive home when ourflights were cancelled x4 days due to hurricane Gustav. We used enterprise and they came to POR and picked us up but we still had to go to their location to sign papers etc. not sure if there is a company that will bring the car to you and just let it go from there? That would be ideal.

There is a sticky at the top of the page that lists the locations of car rental companies in or near DW.

Onsite you'll find Alamo and National at the Car Care Center near the MK where you can arrange their shuttle to pick you up and take you to the CCC. They also have a desk at the Dolphin Resort.

Other car rental companies are at nearby hotels, particularly at the DTD Hotel Plaza and are within walking distance of DTD.

I don't know of any rental companies that will bring the car to your resort, but many have shuttles that will pick you up.

You can also rent from Avis or Dollar that at located within walking distance of DTD. We have done it many time while staying at SSR. Just take the DTD bus get off and there is a Dollar location at the Wydham Resort on the corner across from the DTD bus stop. Or there is an Avis location at the Hilton which is a 7-8 minute walk from DTD.

Went renting from Dollar you can use the code KISSE for a %10 discount. It is a general vacation code anyone can use. Its been around for years.
