Leaving for my first trip to DL on Sunday. Need to meet someone for Lunch around 2:30 so I was thinking Garden Walk will be the best option as it seems most of the resturants at DTD need priority seating. Looking for something sort of fast as we need to be back to DCA by 5:00 so we can see the 5:50 Aladdin show so...

What is the best route to take to garden walk and back to DL? I have the ART 3 day bus pass. My hotel route requires a transfer at DL so I am just wondering if there is a certain bus I need to look for. How long does it take to get to Garden Walk from Disneyland??

Thanks
Ashley

Or you could walk it, just head towards Harbor (or go left when leaving DLR) and when you get to Harbor turn right, walk down the street until you get to Katella (I think it's Katella) and then turn left, GW will be down the street. :) It's really easy to get there. BUT, you do not need PS or any type of reservation for the DTD restaurants, we never have PS and we eat in DTD regularly. :)

About how long of a walk is it from the hotels across the street from DL?

We were at DLR Oct 18-21 and ate at Rainforest Cafe twice, ESPN zone and Tortilla Joe's (yummy!) without PS and we only waited about 15 minutes for a table.

Where might one catch said bus and how much might said bus ride cost?

i believe its free, and im not TOO sure which terminal its in, but you will definitely see if it when it comes in to Disney's bus port.

i'm sorry, I don't know how long of a walk it is, I would estimate about 10-15 min. We walked from the Peacock Suites to the parks and the distance is about the same, it took us about 13 min. to do that walk.

GW is between Disney Way and Katella, so if you are heading south along Harbor (with DCA on your right) the first traffic light you come to will be Disney Way. You can turn left here or go down to Katella, the next major traffic light, and turn left there.

If you are talking about the hotels on Harbor, obviously it will depend on which one, but even from Hojo's, I think it was only a 10-15 minute walk to GW.

from the main turnstiles at DL it is about 1 mile or slightly less.
after a long day of standing and walking at DL and DCA it might be worth riding the shuttle to GW....or taking ART;)

So does the free shuttle to GW come in the same drop area as the ART? Is this where one would get on?
We are going to the GW for our first time and this is really helpfull!

here is the contact phone number for Garden Walk 714.635.7400.

I would give them a call and ask about a shuttle.

Nothing in on their website mentions anything except ART.

Maybe it is something new, or maybe it is something they no longer do since ART runs so many busses.;)

Thanks! We won't be using ART so I was trying to avoid buying the pass for such a short distance, but someone we are travelling with cannot walk that far, at least without complaining!:rolleyes1
