Best way to fly to Disneyland from NYC Metro area

This sounds great! Almost 6 hours in coach is hell but the lay flats will help. I always fly out of Jfk on jet blue or American very early a 6am or 7am flight that gets into lax by 9 or 10am then off to the hotel via car service and then the parks!

I was shooting for that but the only way to pull it off was to fly to DC the night before and catch the 8:15 out of Dulles. Should get us there about 10:45 which is about perfect. I am thinking of using a car service this time around instead of Uber/Lyft. Which one do you normally use?

I use Golden West Airport Express for years. reservations 1-800-917-5656

They are reliable and the owner and the drivers are great. They will take your reservation and arrange for your pickup before you leave on your flight out to LAX.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will check them out.

Twice this year I have found us booking cheap flights into LAX, only to rebook them to either John Wayne or Long Beach for hundreds of dollars more as the trips grew closer.

LAX can be a difficult airport. Large, busy, etc. But, it isn't that big of a deal. The drive to Disneyland can take forever, but at least I am in the comfort of my airconditioned car and I can handle that. Of all the things that bother me the most, it is the darn shuttles to and from the rental car parking. I know, first world problems. But, depending on the airline, it has taken us 40-60 minutes just to get to the rental car after we land. Sometimes the lines are long to board the shuttle, requiring you to wait for more than one shuttle. And, often, there are many stops before you even leave the airport to drive to the off-site pickup, which always seems way farther away than other airports with offsite rental cars (for the main brands).

I know it is petty of me, but it just isn't a fun way to start what I hope to be a relaxing vacation. I travel so much for work that I have grown to hate shuttles and will pay premiums to avoid them. When I was younger, it wouldn't be a big deal. But I am older and grumpier these days.
