Best way to drive from AKL to Boardwalk?

We're having dinner at Boma and then want to head over to the Boardwalk afterwards. It'll be our first time driving in WDW but we'll bring our GPS with us - what's the best route to take?

- what address should we use for the Boardwalk?

Also, is there a charge for parking at AKL for dinner or later BW? We'll be there for about 1.5 hours each.

Hi Karen!

Use 2101 N Epcot Resorts Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL for the Boardwalk address for your GPS.

There are a couple of different routes that will get you there from AKL, but the difference isn't significant. Just go with what your GPS tells you.

Oh, and self-parking is free at both places. However there is a charge for Valet parking. I forget how much.

At Boardwalk, self parking isn't very convenient. Almost all of it is across the road and it makes a long walk back so many opt for valet there.

I would definitely recommend valet parking for Boardwalk. Self-parking is across the road, next to the Hess station.

Driving around WDW is very easy. There are signs posted everywhere. Once your on property you really don't need GPS. Sometimes GPS take you the long way around too!

Mousesavers has GPS coordinates for most POIs in WDW which can be downloaded to some GPS units.
Or you can get them off Wikimapia for anywhere in the world.
