My husband and I are thinking of taking our twin boys to Disney right at the end of Feb. So, bout 10 days from now....maybe less. We'd go for 5 or 6 nights and stay in a value resort most likely to make the trip affordable and allow us to spend the extra money elsewhere. We want to do the dining plan and we'd like Park Hopper tickets but without the Water Park option, as I'll be 5 months pregnant and don't plan on parading myself in a bathing suit :rotfl:

When I used to plan our Disney trips (mostly w/my ex) we'd call Disney directly. I never used a travel agency. When I planned my last trip I used an agency. This trip, I've gotten quotes from the Walt Disney World website and also from an agency and they are no different from one another.

So pretty much, I'm totally unsure of how to go about doing this. Will I have more luck finding a deal if I call Disney or will it be no different than the site. Should I keep shopping around travel agencies? I need to do all this QUICK so that I can get everything else ready within the next week and not worry about all of our ressies.

Oh the thought of being in Disney in a lil more than a week....away from freezing cold NJ.....in the middle of the park with all of the fun and yumminess at my fingertips---seriously its any pregnant girl's dream :rotfl2: Thanks so much Disney experts!! :worship:

You won't find many deals a week out, aside from maybe airfare.

Go on the website, see whats available, and book. You might be surprised that it may be booked pretty full.

If it gets within a week, you'll have to call directly, 407-WDISNEY, as you can't book within a week online.

I would call the reservation number directly. Sometimes speaking with a CM who is very helpful can help you make all the right decisions. I would try it that way.

Good luck!!!

How exciting! We have booked a few last minute trips and we have never had problems especially at the slow times of the year. I doubt you will find any deals however, we usually book through the website. Have a great trip!

I WOULD TRY HOTELS.COM I BOOK I WEEK OUT OFTEN (I LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA) AND THEY SEEM TO HAVE GOOD DEALS.:thumbsup2

I JUST LOOKED ON HOTELS.COM I PUT IN DATES FOR NEXT WEEK THEY HAVE THE POP, AND ALL STARS FOR 121.00 A NIGHT AND PORT ORLEANS FOR 191.00 A NIGHT. HOPE THIS HELPS.:goodvibes

Hello, Earning My Ears! Don't forget AAA. If you are a AAA member, you can at least get a percentage off of the rooms if they have AAA rooms left (15-20% most times). Also, you can purchase your passes at a AAA before you leave and save a few dollars also. Swan and Dolphin have special rates for military and school teachers, but it's better to call them directly.
