my brother has just decided that he and his girlfriend will join us for part of our upcoming early December trip. I have several dining reservations for 4 and now I am wondering how to handle it. should I call and try to change some of them to 6? Just show up with 2 more? Has anyone had a similiar situation? Any advice would be welcome. thanks.

1) You need to call and try to re-do the ressies.
2) Sometimes, with an ADR you can show with an extra person.
3) Sometimes.
4) But, adding two more is a certain recipe for disappointment.
5) Can you imagine letting in four and telling two they can't get seated?

Agree with Rusty Scupper. Call Disney Dining & see what they can do for you. Then let your brother know that you've done your best to add him & his girlfriend to your reservations but on the days you couldn't get them added, they'll be on their own for dining. You can keep trying & might have luck, but I'd at least prepare him for the possibility that they may have to make their own ressies elsewhere, or just eat at CS sometimes while you eat TS. Don't try to just show up with 2 extra people, as there's a good chance the restaurant won't be able to accommodate them, especially the more popular places.

Thanks, I was thinking the same. My brother is pretty laid back and will go with the flow so I know it will all work out. I am more of the worrier. I was going to go through my adrs and maybe cancel a couple, so maybe he can use those if it works out. Either way I can't wait!!!
