Best way from the Swan to the front of Epcot without going through the park

I am taking the Yuletide Fantasy tour on Monday, Dec. 8th, and have to be at guest relations outside Epcot at 8:45 a.m. I am staying at the Swan, and will not be going into the parks that day, so can't walk from the International Gateway to the front of the park.

I've thought of two ways to get there via Disney transportation: bus to the MK, then monorails to the TTC and Epcot - beginning at 8:00; or earlier bus to AK (it's an early entry day there) and then a bus (is there one?) from AK to Epcot.

The third option is that I reserved a rental car for one day to get myself to Epcot for the tour, and then to the airport later that day. But it's at least twice as expensive as taking Mears to the airport.

What would you folks suggest?

Call when you get there. They will either allow you to go through EPCOT (without admission) or give you a taxi voucher

Wow, I learn every day here. What is a taxi voucher? And, they will let you in Int'l Gateway, no pass? How do they know you leave when get to the front of Epcot.

And Nancy, when I did that tour 2 years ago, we met at MGM I think. Epcot now, eh??

Yes, Dan...now it starts at Epcot. What did you think of the tour? I wanted to do something that didn't require using park admission, since my AP will have expired.
