Best Way from Coronado Springs to Animal Kingdom Lodge

We're staying without a car. I understand there are a few ways to get to AKL. One, take WDW bus to Downtown Disney and then pick up AKL bus from there. Two, take WDW bus to Animal Kingdom Park and pick up AKL bus from there (but could one walk, I mean are the park and resort right next to each other?). Three, take a cab. Anyone done this? Thanks as always!

Actually, despite popular belief, AK Lodge and AK Park are NOT within walking distance of each other, and are actually inaccessible to each other.

I wouldn't really recommend going to DTD to transfer... If Blizzard Beach is open, that would be my first recomendation. Otherwise, use the Animal Kingdom, Disney-MGM Studios, or Epcot, in that preferred order.
