Best Waterview at a Moderate?

Okay, I still can't make up my mind. Which moderate resort, in your opinion, has the best waterview and why? Which room/building?

I believe we were in Jamaica at CBR. Had a beautiful view of the beach.

Don't waste your money at POFQ. Without a balcony, you really don't get much of a "water view". From experience, my husband insisted on getting the water view at POFQ. Once you left the room, you had to turn to the right to see (through the trees), the canal that goes from POR to DTD.

CSR. Then CBR. I don't really think of the water views at POR or POFQ as "water" views at all. There isn't a lake, it is more like canals - disappointing.

We had a beautiful view at CBR. We were in Trinidad North, right next to OPR (I think it was building 31). We were on the 2nd floor, corner room. The 2 windows in the corner room gave us a beautiful view of the water. This is my family's favorite hotel that we have stayed in, and that view is a large reason why!

BTW, I know CBR sometimes takes a beating on here, but we loved it. We stayed at the GF last year, and DH and I agree that we liked CBR better!

Now, that was a nice view. Here's my advice, though -- don't pay for a water view. A water view can just as easily be a view of a quiet pool as a view of the lake. If you're going to pay extra, pay for a preferred location and hope for a view of the lake -- just my opinion. CBR is great!
