Has anyone ever stayed here? It got great reviews on tripadvisor and at orlando vacations.com I can get a room for $55/night. That would save us a lot of money on our trip. Plus they have a 24hr walgreens across the street and many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Sounds like a good deal to me!

We stayed there two years ago with a group. The good--the facilities are clean and there are several pools throughout the complex. Smokers are separated from non-smokers. And, there's a shopping center across the streeet which includes a grocery store. All of our rooms had mini-refrigerators, which were convenient.
The bad-- (may not be an issue for you). There are five of us in our family, so the room was a little small. However, you can request two adjoining rooms, which we would do if we ever stayed there again.

My daughter and I stayed there last March and it was a very lovely hotel, clean, nice pool and very nicely priced. Very good choice for a hotel.

I have an upcoming night there, I'll give a report afterwards to help anyone interested. A useful piece of information, I just got it for the night of April 24th on Hotwire, 2.5* in Champions Gate area, $35/night. (My first night, April 16th, also was a 2.5* in Champions Gate area, for the same price on hotwire, Seralago Hotel)

If you're familiar with Hotwire, you know it's a bit of a gamble, but you might be able to get it cheaper. Food for thought :)

We enjoyed enjoyed our stay at Best Western Lakeside last October. The rooms were clean and spacious. We are going back in October again. I was looking into staying on site but it is so much more expensive.

We stayed last summer. It was very nice. The kids loved the mini golf and the 3 pools! Housekeeping was great always freshened up the rooms left plenty of towels, even left a little note to please leave a couple extra, she did. Rooms come with a mini fridge and coffee maker, very convenient. Soap and shampoo was always replaced so plenty of that. Walgreens basically onsite, many places to eat within walking distance and/or short drive. Publix right around the corner.
If you want a nice affordable place, I recommend it! If you have any other questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask or pm me!:)

We stayed there 3 weeks ago.

The hotels standards have dropped in the last 2 years from our previous visit.

The cleaning wasnt upto its normal standards, there was bare wires and a loose plug socket (No good with a 3 year old!)
The wireless didnt work in the room, he reply from reception was to go sit in the lobby and use it there !
We booked this hotel because of the broadband as i need it for my website.

Will not book the Best Western Lakeside again.

we stayed here this past July. I loved this hotel. the fridge in the room and free wifi. We will be staying here in May after our week on Disney property. Last time it was a group of 5 (DS slept on an air mattress) but this time its just us 3.

stayed there in 2006, great hotel for the price.
Clean, nice pool, great grocery store in the parking lot, very close to WDW.
Would definitely stay there again, as long as you drive a car (I've read that the free shuttles to the parks are not great)
