Best village at CBR?

Given that CBR is so big, which village would you choose that would minimize walking? We don't mind walking a little ways but we do have a little one. Back when I was on here more stalking out free dining, I remember a post about walking a lot and also waiting for the buses for awhile. Just wondering if there is any certain village that is better than the other in that aspect? We will be in a standard room.

Most seem to think that Jaimaca is the closest without paying a premium, with Aruba being 2nd closest. Both are a short walk across the bridge to get to OPR.

I just tried to request and it's only giving Martinique as a choice... along with corner room, upper floor, lower floor, ground floor, near elevator, near transportation, and water view. Does that mean nothing else is available?

There is a flaw with the IT system. Just call and put in your request over the phone. I would recommend Jamaica, that's my favorite island. The only two I don't like are Barbados (for some reason that bus stop is always full) and Trinidad South (Pirates).

Awesome! Thank you! I need to call them anyway to book my daughters Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment! :)

We stayed standard last year in Building 21 in Martinique at CBR. It was great for the bus stop. Not so great for the food/pool area. The only time we went there was for coffee or breakfast occasionally. My husband complained about the walk every morning. It really wasn't that bad. We started cutting through the parking lot so we could find our room, though. :) I'd go back in a heartbeat.
