Best view 2 bedroom kidani

We just bought our dvc this summer. We have booked our first stay in 2 br savannah view at kidani. Could someone tell me what section to request for best chance of seeing animals. tia

Close to the lobby is a good bet.

I've been wondering exactly the same thing though our trip is much further out. I hope somebody knows! Seen the threads on which rooms for Jambo but really prefer dedicateds to lockoffs.

I agree with asking for close to the lobby. We had a wonderful dedicated 2 bedroom awhile back and it had excellent animal viewing.

One thing to consider is there are different animals on the Sunset and Pembe savannahs. Pembe has Okapi, red river hogs, impala, waterbuck, blue cranes and spur-winged geese. The Sunset Savannah (shared with Jambo House) features Anikole Cattle, Nyala, Reticulated Giraffe, Ostrich, Waterbuck, Hartland Mountain Zebra, Wildebeest, and African Crowned Cranes.

We went in October and had an outstanding view. We requested Sunset Savanna, close to the lobby, 2nd floor. We got all our requests. We were in the 2nd bead from the lobby close to the pool. I loved the 2nd floor (same floor as the lobby) because we were about eye-level with the giraffes. Have a great trip!!!

When I stayed in August, we were in Room 7810 on the 4th floor. 1st bead.

I requested close to the lobby, on same floor as the lobby. (2BR, savannah view).

I could not have gotten a more perfect location. We had giraffe feeding station right outside our balcony and being on the lower floor, we had a very close view.

Thanks for the advice. Really excited about the possibility of seeing giraffes off the balcony so will def ask for that 2nd floor close to lobby.

Thanks for the replies. I had dh call and request room. Now hoping for pixiedust that we get our request.

After doing much research I have determined that the best requests to make are a low floor in the Sunset Savannah or close to Sanaa restaurant. Others on the disboards have said that there are a lot of animals at both locations.

We have a std view2BR dedicated room for June, what is the best request...We will have my 69 & 68 YO parents with us and our teenage daughters age 17 and 14. Dad, DH & I have knee issues. Dad LOVES to trade pins so will want to go and trade with cm's daily, or trade with the "book". I was thinking close to lobby, but the girls will want to swim also so what do you think???
