What do you feel like is the best value snack item for your money at Epcot?

Sushi in Japan, a funnel cake, Starbucks (venti iced drink!), pretzels in Germany...

We try and get value for most of the items we purchase. Overall, it comes down to what you're in the mood for. We sit there and say "oh let's save this credit for _____".. and then we wind up having a surplus at the end of the trip. It's nice to get value, but as long as you don't use it on sodas, you're getting close to a value.

Don't scarf down sushi just to get value.. especially if you don't like fish! :rotfl2:

I am currently trying to plan out things to use my snack credits on so I get the most 'value' and I think so far it's a funnel cake from Sleepy Hollow for $5.99 plus tax. I am always under the impression as long as its $4 or more, it's a good deal for a snack credit. (School bread is only $2.99 so I might pay out of pocket for that)

Of course, I haven't even booked my trip yet. I'm hoping they announce free dining for December again. If not, I'm paying out of pocket for everything.

Not sure how much it is, but the cronut is worth ten credit alone ; )

If by "value" you mean what makes me the happiest for the money spent, it's the cupcakes. Other things might be cheaper, but no other snack makes me as happy at Disney World.

Agreed, anything at the bakery in France. We got lobster bisque there with a snack credit and it was enough for both of us to share.

L'Artisan de Glace in France. Waffle cone + creamy lemon sorbet = the best.

Do you mean best value snack credit on DDP? My DS and I split many a venti frappuccino - usually with extra chocolate - on our trip. Surely that has to be one of the best "values" in all the parks. :)

For items not on DDP, I agree with the seasonal funnel cake in America.

For snack credit items at Epcot that just make me happy and, so, value is less tangible: ice cream in France, many items at bakery in France, jalapeño cheese pretzel in America, Cronut at refreshment port, gjetost cheesecake (amazing) and chocolate almond pretzel in Norway, almost everything we have tried at Karamell Kuche in Germany, blueberry bread pudding at Sunshine Seasons...

When it comes to snacks I don't worry about what has the best snack value on the DDP, I get what I like to eat at the moment I want to eat it. To me it's not a great value if there is something I like better but don't get because it don't have enough value on the dining plan. But that is just me. :goodvibes With all that said though, I love so many things in Epcot but my favorite is a waffle cone at L'Artisan des Glaces in the French Pavillion.

ham and cheese croissant from the bakery in France is yummy and a great value. Its very filling.
Dole whip floats, funnel cakes from sleepy hollow, and nachos for fantasmic are all good values for snack credits that we really enjoy.
