ok, I am planning on attending the MVMCP on Nov.29. I am thinking about staying at one of the value resorts, I usally stay at a moderate but want to try to a value for my budget's sake.
Which would be a good one to try for an adult staying alone without kids??I am just staying one night basically just need a place to sleep.
I am not picky, but i would like one with a decent food court and one that is relatively quiet at night. I have heard conflicting reviews of the values and have done research and am looking for some input before I definately decide on a value.
Thanks!

POP seems to be very popular. I think for one night it is a great idea to choose a value.

I have tried all the values at one time or the other...I like Pop Century the best. Have a great trip.

Pop but don't get a preferred room.

ask for 50's with a lake view for quiet.

After many solo trips I moved from ASMu to POP as my resort of choice. I try to get building 4 prefered ground floor pool side room 4111 or 4112. never got 4112 but 4111 4 times now. It is just 75 feet to petals.

OK, I'm going to be the different one. Since I've stayed at all the value resorts either solo or with adult friends, I'd do ASMusic. I've found it to have more adult couples/solos staying there as the themeing is more adult and not a first choice of kids. The few times I've been there it's been quiet and clean. I love the themeing of the Broadway section, but Jazz is also great too. The 3rd floor is quiet with nobody above you and the courtyard (facing away from the pools) adds to the serenity.

HTH!!!! :teeth:

I've stayed at all the Values and I vote for ASMovies.

Pop lacks a Disney feel in my opinion.

For me it's a toss up between Pop and Music. I love both of them. I had to book my last night at a value and chose Pop. But Music would have been fine also. When I stayed at Music is was incredibly quiet (and the cheerleaders were there then also!). I was in Jazz bldg, on the third floor toward the parking lot between Music and Movies. Never heard anything.
At Pop we were in the 50's bldg..again at the very back of the bldg on the third of four levels. Very quiet. I do prefer the food court at Pop though.
If you go with Pop, I would request a higher level, facing the lake. If at Music, go with either Broadway or Jazz, the back of the bldg on the third level.

Thank you all for the input. I did decide to book a room at POP. Got a room for $64.00! Cant beat that :) Now just 27 days until i go to POP and MVMCP..yay!

I agree with goofy4tink - I've stayed at both Music and Pop - Broadway section, top floor at Music, and 50s, 80s and 90s sections (top floor) at Pop. Love um all - but Pop is by far my favorite! Heading back again in January...

I have sayed at POP and Music with my daughter, and just stayed at POP solo. I was very happy with it. DOn't need a preferred room. I stayed in the 70's building, top floor, walked around at night, and felt very safe. Just be aware of your surroundings. Have a great time.
