I'm surprising my two children and their "significant others" with a WDW trip next May for Christmas. Age range is 19-23. My daughter and I stayed at ASMo last trip and loved it!! Buzz building #10... I'll be needing two rooms this time and was wondering if Pop Century is a better choice, or should I stick with the ASMo?

pop is awesome..it is very upbeat....the place is sooo fun....we stayed there twice this year.....you cant go wrong with that resort...

What a wonderful gift! I don't have a suggestion because I haven't stayed at any value resorts yet but I wanted to tell you what a great idea this is. I'm sure you'll all have a merry xmas! :cloud9:

For 4 adults I would recommend POP. the room decor is SO much nicer than the AS and you don't share buses. It's also more centrally located. It just has more of a grown-up feel.

If you can get it, try Pop Century. It is new, and I haven't heard anything negative about it. My personal preference would be the 60, building with Jungle Book and the Hippy Dippy pool!

Here's another vote for Pop Century. I was there in October for the first time and was very impressed. The lake is beautiful and makes the resort feel more like a moderate. And as someone already posted, it is very upbeat and fun. They played the best music (lots of disco) in the courtyard area!!

I'm in my early 20's and I would stay at POP in a heartbeat. My bf and I visited the resort this past May and I was impressed. They have an awesome food court and gift shop.

Make sure you check out the shadow boxes in the lobby that have 80's memorabilia- we really got a kick out of them! -Stephanie

Hello!

What a great gift! (I'm Jealous :D ) Anyways, I'm 26 & my hubby is 27 & we just had an awesome stay at the POP in Sept 2004. We were even there thru Hurricane Jeanne! :D We ended up staying an extra night. We loved this resort so much that we'll be back in January! We have also stayed at the AS Movies twice (stayed in Toy Story & 101 Dalmatians,) and although I would return there, we really loved POP so much more. Everything that the original All Stars lacked in, the POP has.

The transporation there is great - only 5-6 minutes to both Epcot & MGM, a couple more minutes to AK, and maybe 10-12 minutes to the MK. The best part is that the busses here don't share with any other resort. This makes for much shorter bus rides everywhere. The pools & food court are great - I highly recommend the mugs. I don't think anyone can go wrong when giving a Disney Trip as a gift - but my vote is for the POP. Good luck! :D

I just had to say - What an awesome gift!

I was at the pop with my little kids but the place is great for any age.

When I was at ASMusic 2 years ago, there were so many college-aged guests, I felt like I was in a college dorm. I have 2 sons in their early 20's, and I kept thinking how they would have fit right in.
