Hi and hope someone can help with a suggestion or two as it looks like we're going to have some counter service meals that we won't be using and we don't think we can exchange those for snacks so can anyone recommend another option for us or for maybe even donating them?

We tried a quick search to see if Disney operated a service where you can donate your unused credits to any charitable fund such as 'Make-A-Wish Foundation' or to the military, similar to American Airlines where you can donate air-miles to their 'Operation Hero Miles' but so far with no luck.

Any suggestions or point of contact for donating dining credits would be appreciated :thumbsup2

Oh, we only have 3-days remaining of our vacation.

Couldn't you sprinkle some pixie dust on someone in line with you and order their food against your credits? that would mean you would have to be sure you were not going to use them or you'd have to wait to the last day....

Perhaps the rules have changed but we have been able to swap TS and QS credits for snacks, thought I believe it may be dependent on the CM. The particular CM had served us our 'breakfast' many times over the previous 2 weeks and we had become quite friendly. I have also 'bought' lunch at a QS for a very stressed looking young lady with two small children who were so excited/tired. So that is also possible.

Sorry, but unused dining credits (be it TS or QS or snack) are "lost." The Dining Plan rules prohibit a guest from using their credits to purchase meals for anyone not included on their reservation. So this would also cover gifting or donating credits. It's a nice idea, but at this point, against the rules.

Can I use my Disney Dining Plan to redeem meals for friends or family members who are not included in my reservation or have not purchased a Disney dining plan?
A. Sorry, you may not use your Disney Dining Plan to redeem meals for friends or family members who are not included in your reservation or have not purchased a Disney dining plan.

Because the credits expire at midnight after you have checked out, you won't be able to donate them to charitable organizations.

And since the previous post is correct regarding Disney's rule on the credits and using them to purchase meals for individuals who are not in your party, I'm going to close this thread.
