I' getting ready to book my adrs. We'll be going with our 2 and a half year old daughter, she isn't a fussy eater. Which restaurants would you recommend at eac park or at any resorts.

thanks i advance.

verity.

I like Garden Grill at Epcot. It's a character meal though (at least I know it is for lunch), not sure if that's what you are looking for. The food is good and the seating is in booths. If your daughter gets cranky or restless ( like mine did at that age!!!!) the other diners are less likely to notice with the arrangement of the booths.

My daughter was 2 weeks shy of 2 when we went in May and she will be 2 months shy of 3 when we go in March.

We have dined at and she liked:
Coral Reef, Spoodles, Hoop Dee Doo,

and we are trying this time:
O'hana, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Tutto Italia, Maya Grill and Trail's End Buffet, and doing Spoodles and Coral Reef again.

GOOD LUCK!

We did WDW when DD was 18 mos and then again when DD was two weeks shy of 3 and DS was 13 mos.
We had a fabulous time at Chefs de France for lunch. The princess breakfast at Akerhaus in Epcot. The Hollywood and Vine breakfast (or lunch) in MGM, it is Playhouse Disney characters.

Most restaurants are GREAT with the kids, a lot of the CMs will go out of their way to help. I was usually more concerned that they weren't behaving than the CMs were. The one exception was Coral Reef. We had ADR and still waited over an hour until my DH finally complained. Then they sat us and yelled at my DD because she walked up to the tank (we were seated right in front of it!) she told her that it was time to eat not time to play. They also did not have regular highchairs for DS, they were the kind that clip onto the table. The waitress set it up and it collapsed on my DS. He was screaming and panting, she told me I overreacted when I told her that I wanted a new highchair!
In fairness, I have heard other people complain about the wait at Coral Reef, but I have never heard of a CM that rude at a restuarant. We left and had a cheeseburger at Electric Umbrella.

Thanks for your inputs, I think we will definately go for Garden Grille, good point about the booths! Might try Chefs de France for a change. I was thinking about Coral Reef, but miht have to rethink now, wasn't that sure anyway!! :thumbsup2

We are taking my 18 month old granddaughter and I was thinking of changing my ADR at 1900 to Liberty Tree Tavern. I thought that she might have more fun with Chip, Dale and Goofy than with Cinderella. Thoughts?

I think it depends on your grandaughter. Will she be scared of "full dressed" characters (i.e. Mickey, Minnie, etc) or would she be better of with the Princesses, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins....ones that look like real people. If she visits Santa or the Easter Bunny..etc...how does she do with them?

When my daughter was 2 she did better with Princesses, etc. She FREAKED OUT with every full dressed character EXCEPT Mickey, who got a HUGE hug. She was even scared of Minnie and Chip and Dale. :confused3 GO FIGURE. We are attempting Chef Mickey with her this time around (she'll be almost 3), BUT she was still scared of Santa this year.
GOOD LUCK!

She freaked out with Santa!!!!! I mean screamed bloody murder!!
Thanks for that reminder. I think I will be sticking with 1900!
Hoop De Doo Revue should be fun.

With any table service restaurant, you can get your standerd food for your 2yr old (mac&cheese, chicken nuggets, etc). We took both our girls at 2yrs old, to many many different restaurants on property, and they were all accomodating. But to answer your question.....

MK - Liberty Tree Tavern
Epcot - Garden Grill
MGM - 50's Prime Time
Animal Kingdom - I have no opinion
Resorts - Kona Cafe, and Chef Mickey's. 'Ohanas is good too, but that dinner can last long, and a 2yr old starts to get impatient (mine did).

Have a fun trip!!!
