Doesn't look like there is much to pick from ....but what is the best TS in Hollywood Studios??

Mamma Melrose's

ITA!!! Only difference is I would leave H&V off the list completely.

Brown Derby is very, very good.

Mama Melrose is good in a more casual way.

50s Prime Time is good if you're looking for a fun experience.

We were pleasantly surprised w/ Mama Melrose this past visit. Good pasta. 50's PTC has good comfort food. Sci-Fi is a neat atmosphere to do once, but the food isn't very good.

We personally don't have much interest in the menu for H&V and Brown Derby.

50's Prime Time. It's my probably my favorite restaurant on property. Hollywood and Vine I hear is ehh, I had Mama Melrose once and it was okay, had lunch at Brown Derby and at that point of my life I was a picky eater so had to order off the kids menu but it was decent. Oh and ate at Sci Fi a couple times and it's nothing to write home about. So in conclusion, eat at 50's prime time, lol.

Really liked HBD for Lunch, and prices aren't horrific.

I'm afraid its the only one at DS i've been to but compared to others around the whole of WDW I think its pretty good

we also like brown derby for lunch, first seating - less crowded, quieter - nice break from the park - cobb salad and grapefruit cake for me!

My husband and I have eaten at the Brown Derby and 50's Prime Time for Dinner, and at Sci Fi for Lunch

We've eaten at several of the more upscale Disney dining restaurants before and found the Brown Derby to be a very big let down. While the food was decent quality, I would not say it was any better than a restaurant similar to Chefs de France, or Coral Reef. While the waiters try to keep the ambiance upscale, the loud crowds, and fast service keep it from being fine dining.

That being said, we've had very pleasant experiences each of the three times we've been to the 50's Prime Time Cafe. The atmosphere is fun, and the food is good quality (I would suggest the shrimp cocktail, salmon and angel food cake).

We've been to Sci Fi for lunch which my husband loved, but I think it was really due to the atmosphere and the big screens with horror movies. I would say the food is similar to an Applebees or TGI Fridays.

If I could go to any again I would go to 50's...hands down!

Gosh OP, DHS has more TS restaurants than AK and the same number as MK. It's not Epcot, of course, but you've got choices!

We eat at 50s Prime Time every trip -- good food and fun experience. We've also had several good meals at Mama Melrose, but it gets mixed reviews on the boards. Everyone needs to go to Sci Fi once -- I've been, so I don't have to go back. We've not been to Hollywood and Vine, but I'd rank the there cheaper restaurants: 50s, Mama's, Sci Fi.

YES! I love HBD, lunch or dinner.

We usually go to 50's twice each trip. It is the last meal we eat before we head home as we like to end the trip with our favorite meal at our favorite restaurant. Husband loves the meatloaf, I think the fried chicken is wonderful, the green beans and mashed potatoes are yummy too. We are from the south so this is home cookin' to us. We are also in the minority, but we love Play and Dine for lunch. We've never been for dinner or breakfast, but the food during lunch is better than most of the character meals. Much better than CP and sometimes better than CM. Didn't love Sci-fi and have not been to Brown Derby or Mama Melrose.
