Best Travel Insurance?

I have a trip planned for this fall and as I'm flying I want to get travel insurance for the first time for the flight alone. My particular concern is having to cancel for illness/family illness and I know not all plans cover for that reason.

Any suggestions or experience with particular companies? I got my tickets from JetBlue and they had an offer but I wasn't sure it was the best option so I skipped it. I think I can still add it though if it's my best bet.

For our recent cruise, I used insuremytrip.com

You input your information and a list of options pops up. Then you compare each policy to see what it covers and how much it costs. Very easy.
