Hi,
I am getting ready to plan a 2015 disney trip when the rates come out, and was wondering who the best travel agency to book with is?

In the past I've used AAA, and they have been fine....but I've heard recently that Small world vacations (endorsed by mouse savers) can get amazing prices. Anyone use them before? Are they reputable?

We are using Rhonna, with My Mickey Vacation Travel:

http://mymickeyvacation.com/about-us/planners/89-agent-resources/99-rhonna-costabile.html

We met Rhonna and her family on a DCL cruise to Alaska last summer and have stayed in touch. She has been a wealth of information and has saved us a lot of time and frustration. Not only that but just last week she saved us over $200 after we are already paid-in-full! She's very reachable and always asking or answering questions as needed.

Thank you for the info :-)

Is it worth it to use a travel agent vs just booking on your own?
I have never booked a WDW trip with a travel agent before and the one DLR trip I booked with AAA didn't give me much confidence in using a travel agent. However, since we hadn't been to WDW in 7 years and a lot of changes had taken place and we also wanted to spend a few days in Universal Studios, I was afraid things would be overwhelming. With all of that, I don't believe it was a coincidence that we met Rhonna.

There are a number of things that make it worthwhile to engage a travel agent as far as I'm concerned. First, it doesn't cost anything to have them book everything for you. Second, this is what they do for a living, so they know all of the best ways to do things, the answers to all of your questions and the little tips and secrets that they have learned along the way. Finally, it takes a load off of you, so you're not constantly trying to make sure you got the best deal or don't miss out on anything. I am usually the one in control of all of our travel plans but it has been such a relief to have somebody else to help me out. Now I know why my family usually leaves it all to me!

Nice! Thank you for all the info. Now I just wish disney would hurry up and release the 2015 rates!

Dreams Unlimited is wonderful! I have used them for several trips, and they do great work. They always get you the best prices, even if a cheaper offer comes along between the time you book and your trip date. I can also tell them the day, approximate time, and restaurants I want, and they will make all of my ADR's for me.

Thank you! Will check them out too

We used to use Small World Travel before we had DVC. I highly recommend.

You asked for the best....and we will tell you the best

Dreams Unlimited Travel!

we have posted on the boards before about them. Don't want to rehash all that out.

but in basic - we have traveled to over 80 countries and never once for any travel used a travel agent. We have done everything on our own.
never saw the value or point using a TA.

We booked an upcoming Cruise with Dreams TA
mostly due to the fact we are traveling with a large group of people coming from Australia. And most of them are not very travel or tech savy as us- and they will NOT book a trip unless it's with a TA (won't go into that)
also Dreams gives a nice credit for booking with them.

we also are fans of the dis podcast- and figured we should give em a shot and support their business and efforts

We have been blown out of the water (no pun intended) with Dreams Unlimited service and our agent! They bring so much to the table
has saved us thousands on dollars- and informed us of options or ways of doing/booking things- that bogles the mind.

THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
and care about their clients and are very prompt at answering any questions day or night 7 days a week

Thank you everyone. I think I'm just gonna have to get a quote from both agencies and see who has the better price.

What kind of credit did you get for booking with dreams?

Dreams Unlimited hands down.... they are the wonderful folks who own and operate the DisBoards, put on the weekly Dis Podcast to keep Diser's informed about new Disney news & changes as they happen.

They live, breath and dream about Disney. They are located in Orlando. They stay up to date with all happening going on at Disney. I don't think you will find another TA that is so well versed as these folks. I know they are very dedicated to helping their customers.

Jensins. to find out what credit, go to the top of this page and click the Dreams Unlimited banner.
