Best Transportation to Sea World from POP

What is the best (and most economical) way to get from POP to Sea World? If I rent a car using Disney's Car Care Center, it will cost about $75 including taxes, then $15 to park at Sea World. If we aren't back before the car rental place closes, then I'd probably need to pay for a taxi back to POP. I'm wondering if it might just be cheaper (and faster) to take a taxi to Sea World and back. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Taxi or Uber would be the cheapest. Unless you can get a one day car rental cheaper, but depending on when you are going, one day may not be cheaper. You'd rent 9am to 9am, so you wouldn't have to return the car in the evening.

Best would be taxi. Car rental makes sense if you want the car for something else, shopping for example. Taxi is easier and probably cheaper.

Most economical would probably be Disney transportation to TTC or DTD then Lynx bus.

Keep checking, I have gotten one day rentals from Alamo at the Car Care Center for as little as $30 total for a one day rental. Keep checking right up until the day before you need it, you can always grab a taxi if the price doesn't drop. Rather than dropping the off after hours, you have it for 24 hours, just return it the next morning and they will shuttle you to any resort or any park you want to go to.
They will pick you up at your resort in the AM to go get your car up also. (Can't promise it will happen for you, but every time I have gotten a car at the CCC I have been upgraded several grades of car.)
If you do get the rental don't forget to call them to schedule the shuttle to pick you up.

Viking. Best case scenario, OP manages to get a $30 rate. Add the cost to park at SW and a few dollars for gas and you're close to $50. A taxi might be a few dollars more, Uber a few dollars less. JMO but why waste the time renting a car unlless you plan on using it for more then transportation to SW

You make a valid point. I prefer the rental car because it allows me to hit a non park restaurant after SeaWorld and maybe save a little money that way, or stop at the store or something.
Plus there is the fact that due to my profession and extensive driving and safety training that I have had I am more comfortable with my driving skills than any cab driver or Uber person, but that's strictly my own personal preference. I feel safer on the buses as I know the kind of training that involves, but taking a city bus to and from SeaWorld would take way to much time.
But it all boils down to personal preference and I was simply offering mine for consideration.
