Best transportation from SSR to VWL?

We will be at SSR the first week of October with 8 adults and 8 kids (4 and under - yikes!).

I was thinking of making an early dinner reservation at Whispering Canyon at WL then going to the MK that night.

Can I take bus to MK, then boat to WL then boat back to MK? Is that the best way?

Similarly, we'll be staying at SSR and want a Chef Mickey's breakfast at the Contemporary. Should we go to MK, then monorail to CR?

The fastest way is a taxi ride, but since you have 16 people total, you'd probably want to go to the MK from SSR by bus and then take a BUS to WL. That would be faster than walking to the WL boat landing from the MK bus stop and taking the boat to WL and the best way for 16 imo.

I would walk over or take the SSR boat over to DTD and then take the bus to WL. That worked eaiser for me and my family.

You can walk over to the contemporary, it will be much quicker than the monorail. Just go the opposite way of the way you would walk to the monorail. There is a path right under the monorail.

Take a bus to the magic Kingdom, then take a boat to the WL. The boat ride is quick and is much nicer than a bus...
