aside from the boxes the other toys came in  lol

I bought Kaylee a Barbie Travel agent set of of ebay and she's sitting here being "just like mommy" working in the office and scheduling trips :)
Right now shes planning a trip to nanas house ;)

Im so proud :)

What was the best toy you got your kids this year?

The best toy we bought was TiVo::yes::

Santa brought him a Leapster which he really enjoys.

ah yes Tivo would be a really good choice!

Leapster is wonderful too from what I hear.

The only problem Im having with the Barbie ste is I think Im setting myself up here with unrealistic expectations. I RARELY work in my evening gown ;)

Maybe you could put some lace and sequins on your nightgown and call it an evening gown;) .

Anyway, I think by far DD's favorite toy is her Legos. Not a day goes by that she isn't making something with them. The hardest part for her is taking apart one creation to make another. If she had it her way she'd have an endless supply.

ah you have a good idea! Im sure dd would that was wonderful!!! :)

LOL

Yep Legos are HUGE hit here especially with ds8 of course now its more of the Knex variety, but anything that builds is a winner.

I RARELY work in my evening gown

At least she has Barbie dressed...... :p

The boys favorites this year were their R/C trucks. They restickered all of them.......I think the stickers cost as much as one of the trucks!

I got TIVO too and I love it! But it keeps recording things that I did't program it for? I think it gets bored by itself all day, lol.

My dd (5) loves her color Pixter and her LeapFrog Princess Laptop! Ds (8) loves all the army toys, mostly guns, that the in-laws got him, oh and his Jedi Academy X-box game.

The big hits, over the video game, video now, dvd player, etc was the two classic GI Joes I also got on eBay! He is sooooo anal about them, though, he tells his friends NOT to play with them because they're collectibles!

Was the Knex Rippin Rocket Roller Coaster set..

This baby is awesome..

It took my son over 12 hours and 88 pages of instructions to finish!

This coaster is amazing... The initial lift hill is over 5 feet high, two power booster, a downward spirals and some banked curves. :earseek:

This set is soo coooll... and its great to see how physics and gravity work together! My son is a coaster nut (for example he had to a report on any state, and he picked Ohio, because of Top Thrill Dragster and other coasters at Cedar Point!)....

The doggies think he built it just for them:rolleyes: They bark and wag their tails

Cindy B-My son wanted that coaster in the worst way! 12 hours and 88 pages, I'm glad we didn't get it! LOL!!!

Best toys this year--Harry Potter Legos and Imaginext Pirate Ship--My boys have been playing hard wtih both of these.

For dd--this huge baby that is almost as big as she is. She just loves that thing!

!

Actually, my son did all but one step by himself... and it was actually on sale at Target for a great price (under $50)

My son just turned 9, and a huge coaster freak, so it is like heaven to him!

A Barbie travel agent set - how cool is that! My sister and I played travel agent all the time and would have loved that. My Dad is a travel nut and collected maps and brochures - we just played with his collection. My sister is a travel agent now, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't wear sequins.

I guess my favorite gift was the 3D puzzle for my eleven year old. He has spent lots of time on it and really seemed to enjoy it. I'm sad that it's done - I'm tempted to have a little accident!;)

For the Granddaughters this year I purchased Build-a-Bear Certificates.

They were all excited about do this, one GD had never been. She talked about it for a week and told me she dreamt about returning. Guess I'll have to get to the mall for some Valentine Certificates.

Karaoke machine. My daughter has an auditory processing disorder. At 8 she has never been able to sing a song or memorize the words. One week with the machine and she learned all the words and the tunes to 10 songs! YAY! I think it's something about seeing the words highlighted on the screen as it plays. We are beyond excited. (even so if I hear 'I'm a believer' from Shrek one more time I'll explode! ;))

The best present that we got for our son, who is 6 is the Complete Spiderman Lego set...he loves it and has played with it everyday since Christmas!!

DD, who is 4, was pretty easy, she loves everything, but probably her Easy Bake Oven the best! :)

The best toy I got my oldest son was a game cube. He loves it so much. I have to keep telling him he can't play all day because I really think he would! He wakes up some times in the middle of the night and I will hear it running, and I have to tell him he has to go to school in the morning! He thinks he can give up some sleep time for some play time:rolleyes: . I'm glad he loves it so much.

The best toy my DS got is the Cadoo Game. He loves it! It is really fun and he is learning too!
