Best Tour Day and Time?

We are going to sign up for the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour for our May trip. The tours are at 9:30am and 1:30pm and our options would be a Saturday either time, Sunday afternoon tour, or Monday any time. Which time and day would you recommend to take the tour? Am I right in thinking we should do the tour on the busiest of those days and save the "quieter" days for hitting the rides and better park touring?
